‘California’ Low Approach Aluminium Slidebacks

Our ‘California’ Low Approach Aluminium Slidebacks have payloads ranging from 1.8 tonnes to 5 tonnes and are designed and individually custom built to fit the majority of European chassis ranging from 3.5 tonnes to 15 tonnes GVW.

Because of our specially designed Initial Low Approach Angles you will find you can load cars with low spoilers more easily.


With their Aluminium Outer Bodies, hot dipped Galvanised Chassis Sub Frames, Inner Bodies and Chassis Fittings, our Slidebacks give you more legal payload without any of the problems of rust you might have with steel.

Our aluminium sections, that are produced to our unique designs and manufactured from our own dies, give you great strength. And our Outer bodies’ main sliding channels are made from aluminium, not steel, and welded to our aluminium floor. Giving you more payload and none of the problems that can occur when steel channels are clamped with bolts to an aluminium floor.


Optional Low Approach Steel Outer Bodies

But if you prefer a Steel Outer Body it’s not a problem. For 7.5 tonne GVW chassis and upwards, you have the option of Steel.


We also build Slidebacks up to 20 tonnes Payload Capacity

Our very experienced, qualified design engineers have been designing and building Slidebacks for almost 50 years. Their experience of building different sizes and types is unparalleled. All our designs are created using the latest computer aided design (CAD) software.
